Lone Star Bridges has been involved in the construction business since 1968.

Ronald Eckert, has been a part of the construction business all of his life. All who know him, know, that when a construction problem arises you can count on him for the best possible solution. He has a brilliant mind for figuring things out and putting them into play. Ronald has built bridges for farmers, ranchers and developers for the last 20 years, with a 100 percent customer satisfaction rate.

His son Shad Eckert, a graduate of Austin Business College, follows his father´s passion for building bridges and providing a great service. He has grown up in the world of construction and has learned from many mentors in a variety of many construction fields.

Every bridge is custom built to suit your needs. If you need a certain capacity, width or length your needs will be accommodated.

We build Railroad car bridges, Truss design, and free span Suspension type bridges. The Railroad car type bridge has been a successful type of bridge for a high carrying capacity. Due to the increase of steel prices, the Railroad type bridges are harder to find and buy. The Truss type bridges are a old fashion rustic looking bridge for those that desire a more aesthetic bridge. We have a new aesthetically pleasing free span Suspension type bridge engineered to be expanded and retracted for any location and span.

The bridges we build have a capacity that will carry anything from four-wheelers to loaded cement trucks. We also build simple pedestrian bridges.
