The People of Lone Star Bridges:
Our "founding father", Ronald Eckert, has been a part of the construction business all of his life. All who know him, know, that when a construction problem arises you can count on him for the best possible solution. He has a brilliant mind for figuring things out and putting them into play. Ronald has built bridges for farmers, ranchers and developers for the last 20 years, with a 100 percent customer satisfaction rate. Although he is retired, we still count on him occasionally for consultation.
His son, Shad Eckert, a graduate of Austin Business College, follows his father´s passion for building bridges and providing a great service. He grew up in the world of construction at Ray's Crane Service. Even at a young age he was helping out by running equipment and gaining the experience and knowledge that serves him today. His mentors passed on knowledge from a variety of many construction fields, giving him a well balanced outlook. We've counted on Shad for our top of the line bridge installations for the past 3 years.
Ron's daughter, Michelle, is the business manager. For the past 5 years she's helped the company grow and become more productive and successful. She started small and now she's responsible for most of the customer information and all of the office management. We know we can always depend on her to keep it straight.
Our Bridges:
Every bridge is custom built to suit your needs. If you need a certain capacity, width or length your needs will be accommodated. We build Railroad Flatcar bridges, Truss design, and free span Suspension type bridges.
The Railroad Flatcar Bridge has been a successful type of bridge for a high carrying capacity and the ability to free span. These bridges are used for both permanent and temporary applications. We NOW carry Railroad Flatcars that are much WIDER, measuring up to 89 feet long and 10 1/2 feet wide. Our Rental bridges are quickly installed and once removed, leaves the land virtually untouched.
The Truss Bridges are an old fashioned rustic looking bridge for those that desire a more aesthetic bridge. These are fabricated right here in La Grange and shipped to your bridge site. We custom build these to suit your needs. Some have been 40ft long and some 100ft long.
We provide a beautiful free span Suspension Bridge engineered to be expanded and retracted for any location and span. These are great for land developers, city managers, parks and anyone who has a real taste for style.
We also build simple Pedestrian Bridges for any crossing. We can help get your patrons safely to their destination.
We collaborate with Certified Engineers to provide you with the best design possible on the market today.
