Railroad Flat Car – Railroad flat car bridge construction can span very large spaces and carry loads that are too large to fit in a boxcar. These flat cars generally carry such items as aircraft parts, construction beams, circus equipment and rides and lumber. This type of bridge can be used as a permanent structure or they can be used in rental applications. We offer flat car structures that are very wide (up to 10+ feet) and can be as long as 89 feet. If they are used as a rental, they do not disturb the landscape or land on which they are placed.

Truss – Truss bridge construction is a great way to provide a traditional or old style look. These constructions provide character and look beautiful wherever they are placed. These bridges are built onsite and then shipped to your needed location with your desired specifications. Truss options are made up of connected pieces using tension or compression in order to accommodate a lot of weight. They are quite affordable, and make for an aesthetically appealing choice in a wide array of applications. They are fairly simple in design and are less complicated to construct than other choices.

Suspension – Suspension bridge construction is the type that you see on well-known bridges such as the Golden Gate. The portion of the structure that bears the load of weight hangs below cables that “suspend” that portion in place. The cables hang between vertical spires of the overall structure for support. The advantages of these choices are that they can be used for extremely long distances using small amounts of materials allowing less financial outlay. They can also hold up very well against natural phenomena such as high winds. After initial steps, these structures also do not require a lot of access from the bottom during construction, and so often the roads can stay open during its assembly.

Pedestrian – Pedestrian bridge construction is used as a walkway for people to get across gaps in a sidewalk or walkway. They can also be used for bicycle riders and equestrian (horse) riders. We build them for government use and access for utility workers, for example. Some other examples would be the enclosed walkways that connect one or more buildings in an urban environment. The materials used for these pedestrian bridges can often be designed to complement an area’s surroundings and often they are more decorative than more utilitarian choices. They can be made of steel and other metals, concrete, and types of wood. Construction is similar to vehicular structures such as steel beam and suspension designs.
